We Are The Magic Touch
Based in Westchester County, NY, The Magic Touch is widely considered to
be “Westchester’s Premier Acapella Group.” Performing the hits of the
50’s, 60’s, and 70’s, The Magic Touch has something to offer all music
lovers. From Doo-Wop to Motown to original compositions, from Brooklyn
to Rockland, New Jersey to Long Island, the Bronx to Westchester to
Connecticut, the Magic Touch brings their fans back to that golden era when group harmony was king.
The clean, smooth, crisp, street corner sound is reminiscent of all the
wonderful vocal groups that paved the way some 50 plus years ago.
From the Primarily Acapella web
site, "There are some doo-wop groups from whom the clean, smooth, crisp
sound just seems to flow like a street corner water fountain....The
Magic Touch.....just goes to show how appealing and timeless the
combination of great arranging, soaring harmonies, and classic material
can be.....we have to say that these are some of the best doo-wop tunes
we've ever heard."
Favorites include “Sincerely,” “Devil or Angel,” “Love
Potion #9,” “Little Deuce Coupe,” “Just My Imagination,” “Streets of the
Bronx,” “Trickle Trickle,” “Peace of Mind,” and “Up on the Roof.” The
classic sound is alive and well when The Magic Touch hits the stage.
The Magic Touch has perfomed with Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn
Bridge, The Duprees, The Tokens, The Platters, and Kenny Vance and the
Planotones just to name a few. From big oldies shows to fundraisers to
private parties, The Magic Touch will always make your event a special
one with their unique combination of sweet harmony and humorous banter.

love as we journey back to a time when vocal groups ruled and the sweet
sounds of harmony echoed on the street corners.
